Bishop Suites @ Executive Centre

I have stayed here many times in the past. I love the location as it is easy to navigate using the bus system. I don't use a car here so I cannot share parking advice. We stayed in Unit 4011 for 6 nights. It looks like this unit was recently remodeled because it had fresh paint and new appliances. It also did not have many decorations other than 2 small potted plants and one picture on the wall. The bedroom had the only thing that looked the least bit tropical; two throw pillows. The rest of the unit was clean, but kind of starkly white for someone used to a more welcoming decor. But it was very clean. I was disappointed that there were not more items in the unit for someone staying for almost a week. No pot holders. No paper towels. No coasters for hot or cold drinks. 2 glasses total...1 juice size and 1 ice tea size. Cleaning supplies consisted of a broom, a dustpan, a small bottle of fish soap. No sponges or dishtowels. No dishwasher detergent. No laundry soap. I had to go to the office to request laundry soap and they gave me a small scrubby for cleaning pots and pans. And said I could use white towels to clean the kitchen countertop, the stove, etc, which I did, leaving them streamed with brown dirt. The view was great. The furniture in the living room (sleeper sofa) was almost unusable because the springs were sprung. I could hardly sit there for more than 15 minutes. NEEDS replacement! The bed in the bedroom was comfortable. Extra blanket was a joke. Not even a blanket. And the desk and chair were functional but not a good place to sit and relax. Hard to watch TV from a kitchen type chair. No curtains, just roll down blinds, no sheers to soften the morning sun. 7 hangers in the closet for 2 people who had been traveling for weeks. No chest of drawers or storage for clothes, so I had to get creative. I hope the owner of this is unit will invest in a few more furnishings and make it a more comfortable and welcoming unit. I DO like the location and the 40th floor had a great view of the city. I would stay here again rather than a hotel in Waikiki.

Overall four star for these hotel, we are enjoying stay here.

The apartment was large and well set out. The kitchen and bathroom were dated, there were cockroaches in the kitchen and the bath had peeling paint. The blinds were horrible and didn't block light at all. The lift situation was annoying, if you have a car, you have to go down in 1 lift and then up in another one and vice versa, got very tedious waiting for the lifts. The pool was lovely but a little bit cold!
