Barangay Boutique Guesthouse

Very unique property that the owners have lovingly brought to life. Fun just to get the tour of the house. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay at Barangay. Starting with great communication from our hosts weeks before our trip, a warm & prompt welcome upon arrival, and just the cutest accommodations. The Jordaan neighborhood was the perfect spot for us—lively, clean and convenient to everything we wanted to see. We walked for miles and miles seeing all corners of the city, but we were always so excited to return to our neighborhood in the evening for dinners & cocktails, followed by a restful night’s sleep in our comfy beds. There are a couple restaurants on the block that draw a lively crowd in the evening, but they quiet down at a very respectable hour and never interfered with sleeping. Our hosts were the perfect balance of helpful and kind, providing recommendations whenever requested, and promptly responding to all messages. Our room & en suite bathroom were pristine upon arrival, and cleaned each day after we set out for our adventures. Although we did not cook in the kitchen, we loved being able to come home and make a cup of tea at night, and being greeted by the lovely music and charming, eclectic decor as we made our way up the quintessential Dutch stairs:) Would definitely stay again if we are back in Amsterdam, and would recommend without hesitation!

Great location in Amsterdam. The host was an excellent communicator, was very welcoming and gave us lots of helpful travel advice for Amsterdam. There are steep stairs, but that is only a problem if you have mobility issues or large luggage. We would definitely stay there again.

Can't beat this place! Will be staying here again hopefully when we are in town again. Very nice, clean, beautiful, central location, great owners/staff. Can't recommend enough!
