The hotel is very nice but as far as our room, the bed and pillows were really uncomfortable and the smoke detector had a bright light shining down on my face all night so I didn’t sleep well. We had the temp set to 65 but I don’t think it was working because I was hot all night. For the money it costs, I wouldn’t stay here again.

This hotel is top tier. The service we received was second to none. Beyond the amazing views, good food, cleanliness, and amazing facilities, we were so impressed at how every staff member was phenomenal in their roles, from front desk, to servers, bar tenders, room service, housekeepers, shuttle bus driver and valet, I really couldn’t rate any one team above the others. Everyone was phenomenal. We can’t wait to return!

Rude and busy bartenders. Restaurants are always busy and unable to get booking. After all the wait, food is sub par. No apologies and no concern. These guys need to visit Asia or other countries to understand hospitality. Not a dig. Just genuine heartfelt comments. Very dissapointed.

We were there for 2 nights to attend a wedding on the property. The room was quiet, clean with a very comfortable bed and a lovely patio. The property is gorgeous and they did a fabulous job executing the wedding.

First, let me start by praising the staff. They were simply following inept rules…like asking if I had reservations when 50 tables were empty and then they placed us at the worst location…or turning us away because I had (really expense) shorts, Hawaiian shirt and shoes (not sandals) but then let a different couple in when the woman had basically the same outfit on that I did, and WE WERE STAYING AT THE RESORT!!!! Said screw this and saved money and had a whole lot more fun at local recommended sites for breakfast, lunch, and dinner… Final straw was out last day there. After having spend $1200+ on a couples spa the day before (highly recommended!!!!), I was approached on the last three, and famous, holes on the course (16-18) and told to pick up the pace…wait, the group in front of us was keeping us held up but we weren’t complaining. Nope, it was the group behind us that were a bunch of regulars and then we only saw them twice and that was on the front nine! After rushing through the holes that run along the Tahoe shoreline, the group behind us silly-dallied and we’re 2 full holes behind us. Moral of the story, stay and play elsewhere

What an incredible resort! The location is perfect, right on the lake feels like in the most remote area yet minutes from everything. The shuttle can take you anywhere within the area. The resort and grounds itself is spectacular. I’ve never experienced such a 5 star caliber resort that caters to families/children. So many activities and things to do on the grounds. The rooms are very spacious! The beds and pillows are a bit hard but that would be the only thing. 10/10 would absolutely come back and stay longer!

Edgewood is like an oasis of peace and relaxation in the middle of hustle and bustle of South Lake Tahoe. It is all there - hotel, beach on the lake, pool, jacuzzi, golf course…You don’t have to drive anywhere, stress over parking at the beach, all you have to do is relax, enjoy - and have another snack or cocktail delivered to you!

Beautiful property with luxury amenities! Love the vibe here and the rooms are gorgeous. Priciest room I’ve paid for but worth it for our special occasion. There was even a thoughtful wedding anniversary plate of sweet treats waiting in our room upon arrival. Our golf experience at Edgewood was also memorable. Would definitely return!

A Five-Star Lakefront Escape Edgewood Tahoe Resort is pure magic. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe. We stayed in a stunning suite overlooking the lake—spacious, elegant, and beautifully designed. The fireplace, deep soaking tub, and private balcony made it feel like a true mountain retreat. Waking up to sunrise over the lake was unforgettable. Dining at The Bistro was exceptional—delicious, fresh dishes and gorgeous fire pit seating with lake views. Room service was quick and tasty, too. The resort’s amenities are just as impressive: a serene full-service spa, heated lakeside pool, and nightly s’mores by the fire pit created a memorable atmosphere. Whether you’re visiting in summer or winter, Edgewood offers activities for every season, including private beach access, golf, and easy ski shuttle service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always eager to help, from valet to front desk. Every detail—from design to service—reflects luxury and care. This is more than a hotel; it’s a destination.
