This was truly one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was overwhelmed by the sheer scale and magnificence of the property. There were so many activities to enjoy within the hotel; we particularly loved the Waterpark and the Dolphin Swim experience. The dining options are also exceptional. I visited Milos, Gastronomy, and Nobu by the Beach, all of which offered quality and flavors that were well above average. I definitely plan to stay longer on my next visit. While most aspects of my stay were excellent, I would like to offer two pieces of personal feedback: - In-room Technology: It would be great if lighting, curtains, and other room features could be controlled via an in-room tablet. I understand these facilities are more common in Asian countries like Korea and Japan and less so in Dubai. However, given the modern and futuristic image of Atlantis The Royal, I believe this would be a great way to differentiate the property from other luxury hotels in the city. - Check-in Experience: I think the check-in process could be more private. In many high-end hotels in Europe or Japan, check-in is handled in a more secluded or personalized setting. At Atlantis The Royal, it felt a bit public. While the staff member who assisted me was incredibly kind and professional, a more private check-in—perhaps accompanied by a guided room tour—would make the experience feel even more exclusive and special.

Room sizes are small compared to the price paid. The overall offerings are average for a hotel positioned at this level. Food quality is generally low, with a noticeable focus on cheaper ingredients and cost-cutting rather than premium dining. À la carte restaurants apply excessive upselling, which feels pushy and negatively affects the dining experience. Service is poor, especially in restaurants and lounges. Despite having many staff members, they are difficult to reach, indicating a clear lack of management oversight and proper training. Staff tend to socialize among themselves rather than focus on paying guests. The welcome experience was also disappointing — waiting at reception for check-in is not what one expects when paying such premium rates. Overall, the value for money is disappointing, particularly when compared to other hotels in Dubai that deliver a far superior experience at significantly lower prices.

This place is way above 5 stars! The staff, from the moment you step out of the car, until the moment you lay in your bed, was above and beyond. The room was clean and absolutely beautiful. We had a ceiling to floor glass sliding door with an ocean view. Either side of the resort offered amazing views. Next time I'll choose the palm view to watch the water show below. The dining was also phenomenal. The breakfast buffet offered so many choices. Don't even get me started about the dinner selections. Over the top! To top it all off, there is an awesome water park between the two resorts. You have access to both resorts for shopping and dining. The only down side was that you will need a taxi to take you down town and to do your site seeing. Also be prepared for the pricey deposit. Worth every penny!

I was quite disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The toilet was dirty when I arrived, which immediately made a bad impression. On top of that, there was an unpleasant smell whenever I stepped out onto the balcony, which made it hard to enjoy any fresh air or views.

Exceptional stay the staff were very accommodated. Our room was on lower floor but I prefer higher floor lobby staff changed our room within hour of requesting. Best breakfast buffet options I’ve seen. Pool staff very helpful. Can’t fault anything in this hotel. Will be returning soon.

The Royal Atlantis is an extraordinary hotel — its structure, design, and finishes are breathtaking, and the facilities are excellent for families. It is one of the most impressive hotels I have visited, and the property is spotless and beautifully maintained. That said, for a hotel of this caliber, service consistency is critical, and here we faced surprising gaps. While most staff were professional and well trained, some of the Egyptian staff in particular were not. At check-in, for example, the receptionist Marwan actually refused our repeated requests to accompany us to the suite and explain how the room worked — something basic yet important in a luxury hotel, especially for a large family with children staying in multiple rooms. Another incident occurred with in-suite breakfast: an Egyptian staff member insisted we pay, despite breakfast being complimentary with our suite, and refused to charge it to the room. Instead, she insisted on charging my credit card directly. The issue was later corrected at reception, but it was awkward and unnecessary. She also forgot basics like salt and pepper, which left the meal feeling more like hospital food. Overall, The Royal Atlantis is a stunning property and worth experiencing for its beauty and facilities, but inconsistent service and lack of proper training from certain staff keep it from being the flawless five-star stay it should be

The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer breathtaking views. Dining at Atlantis The Royal is an experience in itself — so many world-class restaurants with outstanding food and impeccable service. The pool and beach facilities are outstanding, making it the perfect mix of relaxation and luxury. Overall, Atlantis The Royal is not just a hotel, it’s a destination on its own. Truly a five-star experience that exceeded my expectations in every way. I can’t wait to come back

Booked a stay at Atlantis The Royal and was disappointed by unclear policies and poor customer service. The hotel included free water park passes for the 3 unnamed guests on our reservation, but when 2 non-registered family members tried to use them, we were charged extra—even though nowhere was it stated that passes were non-transferable or limited strictly to named registered guests. The manager was dismissive and sarcastic when we asked for clarification, which made the situation frustrating. Additionally, free breakfast was included but not mentioned at booking or check-in, so we missed out on two of four breakfasts. For the price and reputation, I expected clearer communication and better hospitality. Hopefully, the hotel improves transparency and guest relations going forward, as well as issue us a refund for extra water park charges and missed breakfasts. At the time of this writing, they still refused to give us this refund.

Defiantly had the wow factor initially but when you get down to it, the rooms have already got mould, and swollen doors, breakfast was like a fish market so much going on, and too spreadout. Don't think we would be visiting it again any time soon.
