    The staff are lovely and accomodating. However the accommodation itself is not comfortable nor with basics that you would expect from it (eg. Mini fridge didn’t work, internet was too weak to stream any shows, TV had no remote and couldn’t be manually turned on either, no water source in the room to fill up the kettle, needed to use bathroom sink for kettle, toilet seat was loose, over head shower sprayer kept folding itself, no hand soap in the communal toilet, etc). I would not recommend this place. We frequent Newcastle regularly and this is the first time I’ve wanted to forego my booking and loose money.

    My experience wasn’t great; the room was small and full of cockroaches (at least the sheets were clean). The bathrooms were dirty, the hot water didn’t work properly and the doors were broken. You could hear noises from all over the hostel.
