    I stayed here my first time visiting Sydney, and I couldn't be more satisfied. The location is great, I rarely needed to take trains/buses to get to attractions, I just kinda walked between them in loops. Lots of great food options nearby, and particularly close to Hyde park. The place was very quiet and comfortable to sleep, and kept very clean. I would've appreciated some more amenities (laundry, breakfast, etc), but overall it's great value for money for an affordable stay in a prime location

    I had a fantastic stay at The Pod Melbourne! For a shared room, it exceeded all my expectations. Everything was clean, tidy, and well-maintained, including the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Melbourne CBD—so it's easy to walk or take public transport to all the major attractions, shopping areas, restaurants, and cafés. The price is one of the best things about this place. It's very affordable, especially considering the quality of the facilities and the unbeatable location. I highly recommend The Pod Melbourne to anyone visiting Melbourne for the first time or anyone looking for a budget-friendly place to stay without compromising on cleanliness, comfort, or convenience. I would definitely stay here again!

    Huge thanks to the manager (Gong) and incredible staff at this place for making my extended stay such a wonderful experience. Everyone on staff is super nice. The facility is extremely clean (they clean twice a day) The location is unbeatable. The pod itself was spatious, had curtains and the bed was comfy. I made some of the best friends with certain guests. Would highly recommend!

    On 29/3-30/3/2026 (2 nights), I was allocated to room 3, bed 5 (mattress with noticeable uneven surface). On 17/4-18/4/2026 (2 nights), I was allocated to room 3, bed 7 (very uneven/dented mattress. Mattress surface molded around the shape of a person around 180 cm height with 90-100kg weight). In the booking for 9/5/2026, I made a special request: Please give a mattress with a more even surface. However, I was allocated to the exact same room again (room 3, bed 7). After communicating with receptionist, she changed me to room 1, bed 2.
