LOFT 17 ARENA

Lovely flat very close to the center of the city, stones throw from the Roman Arena. The only bad thing is that I was made yo pay a cleaning fee of €50 and tourist taxes of €28 upon arrival. I thought everything was covered in the payment I made when booking. But apparently not, please be aware of this if you decide book this place.

Great location, clean and walkable to so many places. Had a wonderful balcony you could sit on at night and had everything you need. 10/10 I would go back here.

Licia was very friendly and gave good recommendations upon check-in. The location is really good for exploring the historic city. The rooftop terrace is really nice. There are three appartments in the building that share the terrace, but we never saw anyone else up there. You are very close to the arena and can hear any potential concert very clearly. We enjoyed the free live music while we were there, but others may find it inconvenient. Our children used the bunk beds, and they were comfortable. The top bunk was very noisy when you moved in the bed due to a small gap between the bottom of the bed and the frame. Putting some paper in the gap solved the problem. The pillows were very hard and not to our liking. We left early to the airport and it was annoying that you have to carry down the recycling to bins that were not by the building but a short walk away. It probably only took 5-10 minutes to walk there and put things in the correct bins and walk back, but it was annoying when you are in a hurry to the airport and feels strange given that you already paid a significant cleaning fee.
