Talk about quaint. The Hanseatic hotel is a B&B just outside of Lübeck’s old city.
It’s proximity to both the main bus and train stations make it a perfect stop for travellers who have travelled far to reach Lübeck.
It’s quiet at this hotel (although this might because I went in February), which if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s perfect for.
Breakfast in the morning is superb and the staff are excellent, I can’t overstate their helpfulness and kindness.
The one complaint that I will say, is that the walls a slightly too thin. Apart from that, they’re very well kept and suitable at least for my needs as a solo traveller.

Hotel offers fair sized, clean room and a good breakfast. Quite good value.
