One La Paz Hotel

Staff was professional and friendly.

Nice clean room with a great view over La Paz. It was, however, a little noisy because it was right next to the lifts, which made a sound like someone slamming their room door every time a lift started moving. This happened all day and into the evening until people stopped using the lift later on at night. Breakfast had a good range of food and there were mini-markets close by. It was a short (15-20min) walk into the main part of La Paz. Staff were friendly and courteous with mixed ability to speak English. There was also confusion about payment of the room as the information Expedia gave us implied that we had paid but the hotel insisted we hadn't. I had to check my bank account to confirm that the money had not, in fact, come out of my account before we checked in. This wasn't the hotel's fault, obviously, but I just wanted to warn others that this would happen if they book through Expedia.

The clean room was really good, and the staff was very friendly.
