Now I understand why people kept coming back at The Funny Lion. They have the best staff and great service. The buffet breakfast is excellent! I never had any complaints. The people are warm, very well situated and the Sea Tree Spa was great as always. The complimentary tour at the papaya beach is definitely a chef’s kiss. You get to relax and enjoy the beach all to yourself even if there were about 20 people around. Free kayak and you can snorkle. I super love it! You can just lay on the beach under the tree with a cool breeze from the ocean. Would definitely come back here and excited to stay at the Funny Lion in Puerto Princesa and Coron on my future trip!!! Thank you The Funny Lion!

First of all the property turns off hot water at night. Yup that’s right after 12pm no hot water, no ice, no drinking water unless you didn’t drink the 2 bottles they give you during the day. They also have crappy wifi. You would expect a hotel of this caliber to have the basics down even if its “low” season. The staff are “friendly” cuz they have to be but barely do anything for the guest. The safe also ran out of battery. A lot of issues for a hotel that charges this much. The location is great if you want to enjoy the town everything is a walking distance. Btw the photo they use to show the “view” they have is also fake. All rooms face inside the swimming pool. The back of the hotel is a squatters area. Never coming back here.
