    Our stay was unfortunately quite disappointing, and there are several things I hope the resort can improve. First, the atmosphere didn’t really feel like a professional resort. During our stay, we often saw the foreign owner getting angry and shouting at the staff. It was uncomfortable and honestly sad to witness, especially since the staff themselves were very kind, humble, and accommodating to us. Second, checkout was supposed to be at 11 AM, but we were initially told we could stay until 12 noon. We appreciated that and planned accordingly. However, at around 11 AM, we were suddenly informed that the boss did not approve it and that someone needed to check the room, so we had to leave by 11:30. That gave us only about 30 minutes to pack everything, which was very inconvenient, especially since we were traveling with a toddler. If the extension wasn't confirmed, it shouldn't have been offered in the first place. Another disappointment was the pool. I think the pool should be cleaned and ready early in the morning, or at least before noon, so guests can still enjoy it before checkout. Unfortunately, it remained dirty until we left, so our daughter wasn't able to swim on our last day. The beachfront room also had a strong paint smell, which surprised us because we were told these rooms have been there since 2019. There was also a lot of ongoing construction around the property, including near the pool area. It wasn't very pleasant or relaxing, and with a toddler, we didn't feel comfortable letting her roam around because of the potential hazards. They also don't accept credit cards—only cash and GCash. I hope they consider adding card payments because many travelers nowadays prefer cashless transactions. Lastly, don't expect too much from the breakfast. It was okay, but nothing particularly special or memorable. The location has potential, and the staff were genuinely nice, but overall, the experience didn't feel worth what we expected from a resort stay. With better management, clearer communication, improved facilities, and more attention to guest experience and safety, this place could definitely be much better.

    The highlight of this property is its unmatched beachfront location, laid-back vibe, and delightful, friendly staff. The local cats and dogs roaming around add wonderful warmth to the place, and if you arrive with a relaxed mindset simply looking to unwind with a book, it can be a great escape. However, the complete lack of responsiveness prior to arrival really lets the property down. When booking online, there are no instructions provided on how to access the hotel. For guests traveling with heavy luggage, navigating an unmarked beach without knowing where to go is extremely frustrating—a problem made significantly worse because the hotel completely fails to answer phone calls or WhatsApp messages. Establishing a reliable line of communication and sending proactive arrival guidance would transform the check-in experience from stressful to seamless. While the rooms are comfortable enough for a simple stay, several maintenance and operational details prevent the hotel from reaching its full potential: Communication & Arrival: Communication needs an urgent overhaul. Unresponsive contact channels leave guests stranded, and a lack of clear signage makes locating the property unnecessarily difficult. Property Maintenance: Issues like weak water pressure, misaligned door locks, uncollected trash, and unannounced building work around the pool area detract from the setting's natural beauty. Payment Options: Despite having excellent Wi-Fi, the hotel operates on a cash-only basis. Offering digital or card payment options would drastically improve convenience. Animal Welfare: The local dogs and cats are a absolute highlight for guests, but many clearly suffer from ticks and untreated ailments. Rather than passing responsibility onto neighboring community members, management has a wonderful opportunity to show true hospitality by funding or organizing basic veterinary care and spay/neuter initiatives for these community pets. The staff are genuinely lovely, but the overall operational flow—from pre-arrival communication to checkout—requires significant improvement. With proactive management and better organization, this beautiful spot could easily become an exceptional destination.
