It's a strange place, cheap, but then the rooms had 6 different adverts in for upsells (buy these: pillows, soaps, room service... Etc). There was then another sign saying how good delivery wasn't allowed. Nothing is in English, which is fine, it's Holland, but worth being aware if you're visiting.

After some confusion at check in the friendly staff made for a pleasant and productive stay. My only negative is that my colleague who travels with a service dog was harassed twice in the restaurant.

Room had some biscuits and paper with dirty carpets when we arrived. No soap in shower. No shower door so the bathroom floor gets wet. Shower pressure was terrible low pressure. When complained at reception felt like they are blaming us instead and the lady was very rude and asked us to just go in the end like we were wrong to complain. She handed me a small soap bottle and said that is enough for 3 people to share and didn’t give any more when asked. Felt insulted. They advertise as a nice clean modern hotel in pictures. The reception area is nice but the rooms are very old and broken handles and not clean. They wanted to enter the room in the night when my family was asleep to check. I told them it’s night now please check in the morning as they will get disturbed and they were blaming me instead . Very unhappy with our stay and strongly do not recommend this hotel. Terrible stay.

Really nice hotel with easy parking. The staff was very helpful and we liked the dining on site. One thing to note is the rooms do not have AC, so keep the windows open and use the fan, they work quite well. We did opt for the breakfast each morning, but quickly found it was not worth the price. Skip it and head out to town instead. Bike rental was very easy, we would stay again.

A beautiful hotel with lovely restaurant. The hotel was clean & the suite was really spacious with a view of the monastery and the nearby woodlands. This was great as we were travelling with children so the separate sleeping areas was a plus. The hotel was quiet and the staff very friendly & helpful.

Very pleasantly surprised as the photos on the website didn’t do this hotel justice. The grounds, decor and general standard was very high and staff all very professional. Our family room was an excellent size, with 2 bathrooms and a door between sleeping areas. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was some noise from other rooms but ear plugs solved that problem. Breakfast was simple but delicious and from service was very reasonably priced, easy to order via the app and great service.

A large room at the back of the hotel, basic but comfortable (similar to a UK Travelodge). We had mixed experiences at reception from friendly to austere - hence the average rating. Positives - plenty of parking and a quiet hotel. We were visiting friends nearby and just needed a place to stay- so it suited our needs. We loved the woodland area behind the hotel which was perfect for running.

Lovely hotel set in a lovely area and will definitely stay again. All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Restaurant was also very good, but perhaps use hot plates so that the food stays hot longer but still very good food!

We stayed there for one night on the way from Amsterdam to Frankfurt. A uniquely shaped building with a unique history (former monastery and then a nursing home) with a church attached to the building, it has a pretty large outside territory and is surrounded by the woods with hiking trails. We had two rooms with two toilets, a mini fridge, a coffee maker and a kettle in the room. We also were lucky to have a one-of-a kind large balcony. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was great! Definitely recommend! P.S. important note- this hotel doesn’t have AC in rooms (this is typical for many parts of Europe). That was not a problem for us but if it’s important for you and it’s summer outside - this place might not be for you.

Me with a sleeping 3 years old in my arms were welcomed at 03.40 in the morning by a lovely man who was ready to show us to the room. Fast and nice. Thank you very much.
