    Love this hotel. Everything from the location, staffing, room size and amenities was above expectations. It felt like a spa resort and very relaxing. The hotel was perfectly located in the Gion area, close to all attractions and train station. If I ever return to Kyoto I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

    The check-out time at this hotel is 10am, which is earlier than the standard time at most hotels. Unfortunately, we overlooked this and checked out at 11am, resulting in an additional charge from the front desk for the extra hour, not a friendly hotel.
