Great location and cost performance. It was clean and I thought the bed was fine and the air conditioning was just right. I appreciated the easy check out with the key drop off box and didn't have any issues with the wifi either. The other guests were kind and quiet too which was a nice bonus!
I only really have one thing I can complain about and that is that one of the showers was out of body soup in the dispenser. It was also generally lite on amenities but as a hostel that is what I was expecting so not really an issue.

Location is superb, in the sweet spot between the city centre, Gion and Nothern Higashiyama, at a walkable distance from many sightseeing spots. The room is big, with space for a double bed and a sofa.
The room was not very clean, especially the sofa, and the blankets had a few small stains. There is a small window that doesn’t let much light in.

Double private room for 3 is great value!! So roomy with a balcony, our most favorite stay of the trip. We had to check in a little late and also got luggage shipped here, staff was SO communicative and helpful.
