I never usually write reviews but we had an amazing stay here! This was my first time in Morocco and I had some doubts but the staff were lovely and the riad is absolutely beautiful. We arrived at night and were greeted with tea on the terrace on arrival. The room was clean and had authentic decorations which made it feel like a really genuine stay in Morocco. For the price I feel like this riad is such a hidden gem! The atmosphere was peaceful and transport links are good. Taxis won’t take you directly to the riad but it’s a short and easy walk to the square where you can get one. Cash machine is also a short walk away since a lot of places are cash only. There are nearby restaurants and the walk to attractions is also easy as long as you have access to maps. There are cats, kittens and turtles living here too which was just so cute. Really contributed to the homely feel here. If you don’t feel like going out there are also good food options to eat in the hotel. We also had a late flight so after checking out the staff let us store our luggage and sunbathe on the terrace/ get changed in a toilet/ use the outdoor shower until we were ready to leave. I am usually a solo female traveller so I had my reservations about coming here alone and bought a friend with me last minute, but in the future I would definitely feel comfortable coming here alone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, thank you! The riad was well located near a taxi stand, only a short walk down one street which was not too busy, with good instructions online for how to get there. Breakfast each day was delicious, varied and plentiful with a new savory item each day (a lot of it was sweet items which I enjoy). We picked a room upstairs so no issues with noise at all. It felt like a tranquil haven from the traffic and streets in the main souks. The highlight were the staff who were both kind and hospitable. They truly made us feel welcome, comfortable and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with our stay - thank you! (Also there was a sweet cat roaming the riad and three tortoise on the roof which were lovely too). Would recommend highly.
