Location: central; personnel:friendly; clean; lockers; Bed: good, but difficult to access. Sharing: not so pleasant, but price was reasonable. All in all: Acceptable

This hostel is super tiny. It looks like they out 3 beds as bunks together, so the top bunk is super high towards the ceiling. There's also a very small shower in the room. I did receive a message beforehand that there was about 122 steps of stairs to walk up. The only thing I liked was the customer service. Also, no air conditioning, so the window was left open. It was constantly noisy.

staff very friendly ,grate price for backpackers .just take care walking around alone had a bit of trouble outside the metro early in the morning (nothing to do with the hostel)

The staff was friendly, but that was the end of the good stuff. The room smelled heavily of BO, the bed smelled like piss. This is only a place to stay if you are desperate.

I have to start out by saying alot of the staff were utter sweethearts during my stay. They were cordial, respectful and tried really hard to help me out. Especoalky after i had my pursevstolen my first night immediatly after checkin. That being said this is a criminal environment addled with toxic masculinity. I was literalky robbed beaten and I think raped a bit during my stay at peace and love. Half the amenities they claim on the listing / website dobt exist. And the bar is filled with drug dealers and thugs who are constantly trying bully you out of there. Bullying is rampant throughout the hostel and I was verbally abused constantly by staff and other guests. Who also menaced violence as well as tampering with my food. For 25 bucks though you get a view of the canal. And the place is cleaned asidiously by staff everyday. Somebof whom do try hard to be welcoming and be protective of guests. Dont stay here if your asolo female or lgbt. If your a straight guy, go right ahead and use the safe for everything. Just be prepared for alot of toxic mascinity and childish trashtalking.

Very very small room, not possible to move or sit upright. Didn’t even get the room I ordered, and the staff was not polite. All the areas, including the room, bathroom and stairways was dirty. Not a nice place, I’m not coming back.

TERRIBLE’ Do not stay here! The area is not safe in general and no police, but neither is inside the hostel!Does matter if you have a private or shared room. There is no security, they allow anyone and everyone inside. They allow people into any room without checking identification or if it’s their room. Additionally, my phone, I.D and credit cards were stolen while I was asleep! The day receptionist refused to assist and took no responsibility - when I requested to call the police, he said he didn’t know the number. Very unprofessional and pathetic. The staff plan robberies within the hostel. When I told another hostel guest what happened, the reception said he will call the police on me.. when I’ve been asking for the police to come and check the cameras for 1 hour. The Colombian receptionist ( I come from a Colombian family, so this is not racist, only so the owner of the hostel knows who this staff member is)knew exactly WHO this person was and refused to call the police and hand over the details of this criminal as they checked out 1 hour before stealing my belongings & other guests too. Also the cleanliness is very poor.I watched the cleaner throw the blankets for the beds on the floor to change the bottom sheets then replace the dirty blankets back on the beds. It’s actually disgusting!! The blankets on the bed smell like vomit. Although the rooms have their own bathrooms, they are not cleaned either. The safes are not reliable and staff can easily open them as well.

I wish I took photos!! The place is disgusting. Toilets never cleaned. Blankets are never cleaned. Also random people come into the rooms and steal your things while you are sleeping. If you want to ruin your trip, stay here. Otherwise, dont! The day receptionist doesn’t even know the number to call the police if you need help. They have no security either. And the area is not safe in general. The toilets are not cleaned. The floors are dirty and they give access to all the rooms without checking any identification. The cameras at the venue don’t work. The blankets smell like piss. The cleaner sleeps in the shared rooms so they have access to your belongings and suitcases - things you cannot fit in the lockers. The receptionist plans robberies so be very careful. Go to Christopher’s Inn if you are on a budget and need a cheap place to stay - they have 24 hour security. You cannot access the building at all without a pass let alone a room. At peace&love, the door is open, even to the homeless. I wouldn’t be surprised if you others have been stabbed here. That’s how dangerous it is. I’ve met other guests who have also been robbed or attempted robbery and the day receptionist plans it so he will not assist you in any way- even though he has access to I.D all guests staying at the hostel. He should be fired because he doesn’t have common sense, know the police number and won’t help you in any way as he plans all the robberies inside.
