The room was good enough and staff was very friendly and helpful. They even let us check-in earlier than the actual check-in time. The location of the hotel was perfect. However, if the pool were bigger and cleaner, it would have been even more spectacular!

The hotel has a classic appearance, and considering how near it is to 5th Avenue it was remarkably quiet (not silent, but not loud either). Room was clean and comfortable, the staff very kind. Cool oceanic water feature in the courtyard, and a nice small pool (we didn't have time to enjoy it ourselves). Close to lots of dining options, and s half block from 5th Ave. If we were going to spend more time in Playa del Carmen, we would definitely choose this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Posada Siam Kaan. After a long travel day, followed by a long walk across town (and being offered every service and “item” under the sun), our arrival at the hotel was met with a sigh of relief.
Despite being only half a block from Quinta Ave, the interior grounds are a welcome and tranquil oasis from the hustle and bustle outside. Staff are unbelievably sweet and friendly, there’s a lovely little quasi-cenote, beautiful trees and the sounds of birds in the morning.
Water is available on-site, as well as a small pool. The room is spacious and comfortable, a nice shower, and good AC.
No means of heating water/coffee in the room, a kettle would not go amiss.
We would love to stay at this location again, if the winds of chance ever blew us back to Playa del Carmen…
