My wife and I just finished a 3 night stay in this beautiful boutique hotel. They have done everything possible to make it a special experience: a lovely entryway, decorative tile floors, little blue ribbons on the shower curtain, organic handmade soap, comfortable beds with crisp, clean sheets, and double-panes sliding doors on the balcony to dampen the street noise. We thought we were getting a garden view room, but I guess there was a miscommunication between Agoda and the hotel. The street view room ended up being fine. You could hear muffled noise until about 10 or 11, and then it was pretty quiet. When the Mayan drummers came by, it was loud, but that only lasted a few minutes. Breakfast was coffee, cereal & toast in a beautiful outdoor courtyard garden. We will be back!

I read the reviews and was aware of the noise problem. Therefore I specifically reserved a "Garden view" room. I knew about the noise problem so I wouldn't have reserved at this hotel if it wasn't garden view. I arrive at the hotel and they put me up in a street view room with massive noise problem. Regardless of my original booking being garden view, this hotel had NO ACCOUNTABILITY at all for false advertisement they just blamed the booking site. If theres only limited amount of garden view available, why are you still selling the garden view room after your limited rooms are booked??? My trip to playa del carmen took around 36 hours from Tokyo including transit and because of the all night noise pollution I couldn't rest at all for 4 nights! It really affected my overall health and the rest of the trip. Be aware of the false advertisement when you book this facility. Noise problem is real and not worthy of ruining your precious vacation.
