Good stay, but room is too small

Nothing stood out except the location. The room condition, breakfast, and furniture were all mediocre.
The old, noisy bidet needs to be replaced. The woobly bathtub must be fixed, as it poses a safety risk, and the flooring clearly shows an area that requires repair.
The room condition does not meet the standard of care expected for guests. The experience did not live up to the “Shila” brand.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Near metro stations, walking distance to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong and Myeong-Dong.
Loads of restaurants and cafés in the area.
The room was quite small but functional, the bathroom was good with a nice shower.
The breakfast was good with plenty of choices.
The only negative was the temperature in the room. The A/C was not on all day and I am not sure it was working at all. The nice staff at the reception desk said that we should set the temperatur to +18 degrees, but it was still on +27 all the time. After we asked them again they gave us a fan.
Only towards the end of our stay we found out that it was possible to open the window, even if it was on the 18th floor. An open window and a fan made it somewhat bearable.
