    The building was located a few meters away from the metro. I picked this hotel because of its proximity to the Montmartre neighborhood. If you are a solo female traveler, it is safer to return early and better not to go out late at night. The staff was accommodating and let us store our bags after check-out time. I don't know if we just didn't find the right switch, but the light in the room was activated by sensor. So when we watched TV and did not move for a while, the light would automatically turn off. The room was small, but clean.

    Really enjoyed my stay, staff where super friendly and helpful. Close to great shops and restaurants and metro. Walking distance to the Basilica.

    I stayed at Hotel Baba for 4 days and had a very positive experience. The staff were very welcoming and polite, always ready to help. My room was clean and comfortable, which made the stay relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but well connected by metro and bus, so getting to the main attractions was easy and convenient. Overall, a good value for the service provided. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and friendly place to stay in Paris.

    Paris is expensive so finding an affordable, clean, renovated hotel like Baba is a gem. The neighbourhood (18th Arrondisement) was Ok (includes Montmartre, nice restaurants at Rue du Mont Celis) but for those concerned about safety, I would avoid Porte de Clignancourt side in the evening. The two drawbacks (to manage your expectations) are the lack of elevator for those with heavy bags or mobility issues, and the street noise if you’re a light sleeper. The staff were very helpful, including helping me carry my bag to the 3rd floor.
