10 / 10Outstanding·Jul 2026
I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Jakarta for 2 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent and convenient for getting around the city. The hotel was clean, and the bed was very comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep. The breakfast was a bit basic and could offer more variety, but it was still sufficient. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again.

The breakfasts at Holiday Inn in Singapore and Kuala Lumpor were better, but the one in Jakarta was ok-ish. A little more variety would be nice. All in all it was a pleasant stay though.

Air condition in my room did not work twice. Took half hours each time to have it fix.the room get very hot without ac and ventilation. I asked if i can have extra free time for extention staying in the room. So i lost about 1 hr with no air condition in the room and got 30 mins free staying in the room for suffering from the heat and the dust while the ac got fixed. Not so generous.i paid the same price for extention and get 30mins free.my flight back is near mid night that is the reason for extending my stay for few hours. Breakfast was ok too. Hotel is Close to Sarinah. Good area to walk along thamrin for exercise

Amazing staff in all areas. Reception, restaurant, housekeeping, security - everyone I met and dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Can’t fault their service delivery standards.
The only downside were the rooms with windows but with a wall of the next building in front of it. But I got it changed to a room facing the mosque.
The call to prayer at 430am was loud and lasted a while but I went back to sleep despite that. So no major issue. I mentioned to a Management staff of the room I was allocated when he asked me. He suggested to request for a room change. But I didn’t as I didn’t actually mind it. But that was a very nice gesture.
I would definitely stay at the Holiday Inn Express Wahid Hashym again.
