We stayed in room 304. Big room with high ceiling. Balcony and view up to Castel d'Elmo. Stylish decor and v.clean. Very quiet location. Big shower with high pressure. Coffee machine with coffee bag pods. Kettle & mixture of teabags. No milk, though! Safe & minibar with drinks inc water/juice/beer. Big comfy bed & good lighting options. Handy lift. Staff at small reception very helpful especially Luca. Recommended excellent local restaurant Signora Bettola. Access to hotel and room is with smart card allowing you to come & go freely. Chiaia is a smarter area but you need to walk 10 mins to Piazza Amadeo on Linea 2 to get to/from main Garibaldi station. Plenty of cafés and places to get pastries etc nearby for breakfast. Highly recommend Hotel Poerio. 👌

We had a beautiful room with a view of the castle. The room had every amenity we could possibly ask for the shower was a little bit slippery. I did make a suggestion that they provide an extra mat for those of us were a little bit older and need some grip the staff was extremely attentive to our needs. The maid service was exemplary as well. Everything we asked for was provided, including great suggestions for restaurants we would definitely come back.
