To get to the hotel from the Lat Phrao MRT station you have to walk down some narrow streets, with cars and motorbikes trying to get around you. Didn't enjoy this part of the journey every time I went back to my room. There is a 7-11 near the MRT entrance which is handy but the options to get something to eat is limited unless you want to walk a few kms up the road. The satellite TV had no English stations even after doing an auto retune on the tv. I tried to download some torrents to watch on the new tv but the wifi in the building blocked the ability to do that! The reception isn't what you expect of a reception, and all you dealings with the reception lady is done thru a 30cm * 30cm window with a dog growling at you. There is no 'counter' per se like a hotel would have.
