Allure Athens Urban Suites

I'm of two minds about Allure. On one hand it is in a good location, our room/apartment was very clean, the A/C worked perfectly, and the building itself was nice. However there are some cons to the room. Another reviewer mentioned the size of the bathroom but we hadn't realized just how SMALL it was. If you are a bigger person, or disabled, using this bathroom will be difficult and a tight fit at the best of times, seriously. The whole bathroom itself is very small. The drain on the floor of the bathroom is loose and comes off with the slightest nudge of a foot. There is no possible way to shower in there without getting water all over the floor as well, so be prepared for that. The kitchen was nice! A small induction stove top was there and a full size fridge. Pots, pans, plates, and cutlery were provided. Some of the cutlery had dried and caked on food however and we had to google the stovetop in order to figure out how to use it. However there are ZERO other supplies in this kitchen. No salt and pepper, olive oil, nothing. Not even a sponge for dish washing. The beds were...fine. Boxspring mattresses, low quality, thin blankets. But they were clean. As for location...it depends on your worldview. There are some wonderful restaurants and bakeries in the area, but there are also posters all around telling tourists to go home, there is ire from locals regarding tourists and outsiders and it is an important thing to consider and respect before booking a stay. 3.3/5 stars

Location is good close to transport. Host is great and very responsible. Loved the balcony area and the food from down stairs was amazing!

Didn't like: Small shower setup was somewhat problematic. Coffee pot filter holder not present.

Bra!
