Although the landlady did all what was possible, the description on Hotels.com of the accommodation offered was highly misleading. Firstly, it is not a hotel, so the reservations are not monitored, and thus our arrival at the doorstep of the house was completely unexpected. Despite the system accepting a booking online, you need to ring to check if anybody is home. There are simple rooms available in an annex building, which are basic (eg. no TV, or other comforts), it seemed suitable for summer accommodation. Locating the property involved driving around unlit & narrow country roads, knocking on doors of very kind neighbours. A somewhat challenging experience, but the landlady certainly put a smile on our faces with her friendly character.

The hostess was very rude and shouty, telling me I didn’t have confirmation for booking and that I should ring her directly to confirm booking. If I didn’t have two young kids and hadn’t already paid I would not have stayed. She made my family and I feel very uncomfortable. Soap / hand wash etc was missing from bathroom, I had to ask for towels and she made me feel as if she was doing me a favour. I had to put on the pillow cases, not enough loo roll. Hairs found in bed. Lights above sink didn’t work ( hard for husband to shave), no bracket to hold shower head. Breakfast was extremely basic, bread ( supermarket baguette), jam, butter with coffee, tea or hot chocolate. No juices or yoghurts or pastries. Overall a disappointing stay in a place that, with some love and happiness could be wonderful.

It was peaceful. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful, especially about finding a meal in local towns. Breakfast was very limited but good. Bread,butter, jam and good coffee. I would suggest charging a bit more and putting on ham, pastries and cheese. Enjoyed it and would return. Tom. Also dog friendly.

We were in the annex - very good but very basic. No TV. Breakfast was bread and jam - sliced brown only one day but had own French Bread. No restraunts nearby so brought food in to eat at night.

Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We received a very warm welcome from Nathalie and Adrien and they were very helpful.

Great stay, room was lovely and really comfy bed. Both the room and bathroom had heating so even in December it was nice and warm. Nathalie was a great host :) - I was able to use the microwave and cutlery etc to warm my dinner as I was exhausted after a long ride. I had to leave by 7am so she left me coffee, toast, and lovely home made jam so that I could have breakfast before I left. My little dog and me felt right at home. Thanks again :)

Just an overnight stay. PLeasant but basic. Not easy to find. It would have been a great advantage if on the gateway, at the entrance, there had been a sign "La Grange".

This was our first night in France on a short tour of the DDay beaches etc riding our motorbike. We were greeted by a very friendly lady and her husband who had a love of motorcycles. We spent a little time looking at his collection and later looked at the memorabilia of his time racing motorcycles. It was the most peaceful nights rest we’ve had for a while and a great start to our holiday. The lady also recommended somewhere to eat about 20/30 mins away and the meal was delicious. Looking forward to book here again.

Owners were welcoming and accommodation was above average, but sofa bed was uncomfortable and the duvets were not adequate for the time of year, whilst pillows were rationed. No soap was provided and the toilet paper ran out with no replacement roll. Breakfast was basic with simply toast and jam to accompany coffee, but worst of all the owner claimed she had no change when I came to pay, so I had to overpay by 5 Euros!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this gorgeous converted barn. The owners were so friendly and the place was so picturesque. Definitely recommend this Gite for everyone. Brilliant value.

We really enjoyed staying here. A staging post on a longer journey from the UK to central France, the owner very kindly welcomed us despite the very unsociable hour,.thanks to a Le Shuttle delay. A warm welcome, and an excellent sense of humour, made for a comfortable stay. The coffee was delicious, as was the fresh bread over breakfast. Thank you!

We loved this place although it might not suit everyone. Rural location in very small but quaint French village. Room was quite basic but clean and a comfy bed. A kitchen is available with kettle, toaster and microwave. Owner is very friendly and helpful.
