didn't like. The area was fantastic literally 5 min walk from the water front, restaurants within walking distance. The facilities within the hotel were fantastic, it was my husband's birthday and the hotel sent up a complimentary cake up to the room while we were out. The gym and the spa were exceptional, the only thing I wish is that they had a swimming pool or sauna. The sauna was in the spa ans there was a hot tub area on the roof top lounge. Overall a fantastic stay, the staff at the front desk, conceirge and house keeping were all fantastic and went above and beyond, special shout out to Andres at the front desk.

the service are not up tp the standard of the brand, incluided a breakfas that was eggs and coffe Everything has an extra charge if you want bead, jam or to change the coffe for the or juice you have to pay extra, and there is no opction to have breakfast at the restaurant is has to be just room service, One day they didnt clean my room and when I returned I asked them to clean it and they told me that is would cost extra charge because is wasnt cleaning hours very poor guest service all their language is extra cost. They also told me that becuase I booked through hotels.com that was my service that was included.

The room and bathroom were not smelly and fairly clean. However, it didn’t feel like a vacation spot. It was too quiet, and there was hardly anything to do around the hotel. I even paid extra for a "room with a view," but half of what I saw was just a giant parking lot — such a waste of money. The hotel itself wasn’t bad, but the location was inconvenient — far from everything, and there were very few nearby attractions or restaurants. To make matters worse, I couldn't recharge my phone or watch at all because the room didn’t have a single USB-C charging port. It’s 2025 — who would expect to run into that problem at a hotel in one of the biggest cities in the world?

The JW Marriott Parq Vancouver is a modern, upscale hotel located in the heart of downtown, right next to Rogers Arena. It’s a great spot if you're attending an event at the arena or need quick access to downtown attractions. Canada Place is just a 10-minute drive away, which is convenient. While the hotel itself offers excellent service and amenities, the immediate area can be a bit quieter compared to other parts of downtown. If you're looking for easier access to shopping and a wider variety of restaurants, I’d recommend checking out the W Georgia and Grandville area instead; it’s more walkable and vibrant. Overall, a solid choice depending on the purpose of your visit.
