Good location, clean room, comfortable bed and a great shower. If you are only looking for a place to come back to sleep in, this is an excellent choice. But if you are planning to stay inside for prolonged periods of time, this is not suitable as the space is limited.

Very friendly staff. They went above and beyond, they were able to help my wife recover her wedding ring that went down the sink and it made our trip. Room was very clean and comfortable as well. The shower was the best one that we had on this trip.

We had a wonderful stay! This accommodation felt more like an apartment with multiple rooms, which was perfect for our family of four. What wasn’t mentioned on the booking site, but was such a pleasant surprise, is that there’s a communal kitchen. That was especially helpful for washing my little one’s bottles. The room itself was comfortable with very cozy beds. Check-in was smooth with clear instructions, and having an elevator made a big difference since we were on the 4th floor. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe, which gave us peace of mind traveling with kids. As a bonus, there’s a gelato shop right on the corner that stays open late—and it was honestly the best gelato we had in Rome! A convenience store across the street made it easy to grab anything we needed. Our host was wonderful—very friendly, checked in with us daily, and even recommended great local spots. We also loved the complimentary fresh croissants each morning. Overall, this place checked all of our boxes and made our trip so enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again!

Capricci Romani was a great place to stay right in the heart of Rome! We were able to walk everywhere right from the hotel. Fresh pastries and espresso every morning was a great addition!

We loved this place! It is very conveniently located to Vatican City and many other areas. Mary was the host at the property and she could not have been any more helpful and welcoming! The room was clean, well supplied and has all the amenities you could want. Mary also provided fresh croissants and coffee in the morning!

It is walkable when going to the Vatican but not really close to the Metro. The place is clean and modern toilets and beds- there is a quaint elevator but it works well- just small and old- i wish there was air conditioning outside the rooms and in the hallways. There’s fresh croissants daily and fridge in kitchen is available . The host was super nice.

First time in Rome and already was amazed by the beauty of it all but more importantly, I was very satisfied by how close our hotel was to a lot of very popular areas in Rome, including the Vatican. Capricci Romano is amazing and the staff is 10/10. I loved my stay there.

Stayed one night. It’s located close to many sights and landmarks. Be aware that there is no permanent staff, so it may get a little complicated if you arrive late. Room was comfortable. The elevator is very old, but works okay.

This is a hidden gem in a nice area which is only a 5 minutes walk to Vatican City. Lovely and clean accommodation. The team were very helpful and friendly. There is an area for complimentary breakfast pastries and coffee which is a nice touch. Highly recommend.

It's a guest house, not a hotel. 4 rooms. No service to speak of. On 4th floor of old building. Thin walls. Clean, including bath. Tiny ancient elevator. Good neighborhood, food stores and restaurants nearby. Not sure I would rebook.....

Mary met us on arrival and explained everything. Really lovely room and modern bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities and a little kitchen area next door where you can make nesspresso coffee and even a milk frother. Beautiful selection of fresh croissants provided every morning at 7.00am. A fridge to keep water cool or wine. Fresh towels every day. A supermarket almost next door . There are numerous restaurants with bars all around the area. It’s only a five minute walk to the Vatican, about 5 minutes to the St Angelo castle and bridge and the hop on hop off buses stop just at the other side of the bridge. A fabulous base to see Rome. The boiler is a bit noisy during the night but I’d still stay here again. It is a guest house and took us a little while to find it. Just look out for the lovely brass plaque on the side of the enormous doors .

Super nice place, great staff. Made a real effort for us to check-in early which we really appreciated. It is pretty quiet, but depends on the behaviour of other guests, if they are respectful of noise levels or not. Amazing location.

Beautiful property with a vintage elevator. Rooms have high ceilings, comfrotae beds and large windows. Fabulous location, minutes away from Vatican, the river, and all the restaurants in Borgo. AC and wifi work perfectly. Staff are courteous and efficient, and Mary (the property manager) is super!

I payed $790 $30 taxes for deluxe 1 bedroom with kitchen on September 2024. The owner gave me tiny room #3, without closet and no space to walk in room. When we put 2 our luggages, we block the bed and not able turn around. It was old guess house, not hotel, No kitchen in rom. It was one kitchen without microwave for 4 rooms. Building has very old elevator and you have to bring your staff one level up to the elevator. Owner of this guess house doesn't provide any shuttle to the airpot. You have to walk approximately 1 km with all your luggages to get city shuttle. It was advertising that room has city view. Through our window we saw old house in poor condition and ongoing construction project. It was total scam of. Expedia has to reconsider this property and provide correct advertisement. I was really regret to pay $810 for this room for 3 nights and will not recommend anybody to rent any room on this property room.
