    Great cozy place to stay in Koh Mak. The cabins overlooking the beach are incredible, staff very kind and friendly, good breakfast and very good location to visit the rest of the island. But the beach this hotel is located is one of the best of the whole island. Totally recommend it!

    We had a wonderful stay at Lazy Day The Resort in Koh Mak. If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, this place is truly a hidden gem. The beach is absolutely beautiful—quiet, clean, and almost feels private. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy the calm sea, and escape from the busy city life. The atmosphere of the resort really lives up to its name—laid-back and stress-free. The beachfront bungalows are simple but comfortable, offering great privacy and lovely sea views. Waking up to the sound of the waves was definitely a highlight of our stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and making us feel at home. Overall, Lazy Day The Resort is perfect for anyone who wants to slow down and truly relax in nature.

    It might have been because I was there during rainy season but the reception is pretty much empty most of the time. Even if I asked before getting there about the internet connection it just didn’t work. I’ve ask for help as I was working remotely but they just don’t understand how to make it work. The door lock was broken and it was only fixed after going to ask, a couple of time. There was a power cut in the island which is common, but they just didn’t even make the effort to explain to guests what was happening. If you’re working remotely or you really need the AC or lights… well don’t expect any help.
