Onyado Nono Nara Natural Hot Spring

The rooms are quite small but very clean with a great shower - great toiletries - and bidet toilet. The pillows are uncomfortable even the one called soft. There is a great, true Japanese style onsen, sauna - be certain to follow the rules. No tattoos, same sex onsen facilities, no clothes, shower before using onsen etc. Was shocked that some parents brought their young kids to use the onsen. Water temp 40 degrees way too hot and dangerous for children or those with High blood Pressure. The tv in your room gave guidance when the facilities were crowded or empty - very Helpful. Bottled water is supplied and a welcome jelly dessert They Offer free ramen and ice cream at 9.30 pm we never sampled this and feel It would be better for the hotel To save the expense and give guests slippers or reduce the hotel Price The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of dishes, mainly Asian cuisine but that is why we visited Japan. Everyone wore the supplied pjs to breakfast, which was quaint but did not like the rule of no slippers. People walked with socks or bare feet which felt very unhygienic. Think asking guests to wear slippers would be better. The hotel is near the train station, either an interesting market hosted at the weekends An easy walk to the park to see the deer and temples was a bonus.

Very clean and nice! The staff was friendly and helpful. Really nice relaxing onsen. Walking distance to the park and temples. I would definitely book this hotel again!

We had a very nice experience on our single night stay. Onsen was refreshing, breakfast was good and the room was clean and quiet. Very professional and friendly staff

I have stayed this hotel several times for many reasons. Very convenient location. Extraordinary services with the staffs. Great breakfast buffet with Japanese and western food. The laundry service has changed a little bit but you still can use ehe wash machines complimentary. You need to pay for using dryer, however, it still decent service. I could relax my body after soaking in Onsen bathtub. I would come back again for sure!
