Nice old hotel. However we were not aware that the hotel is in the no cars allowed part of the old city. Parking is about 1/2 a km away. Pack light. Also rooms lack modern connections for charging phones. We had to unplug lamps to charge phones. Staff was very nice and helped haul our suitcases up three floors, as there is no elevator

Hotel is in the Historic Center of Nîmes within 5 min. walk to the 2000 year old Roman Amphitheater and Roman Home as well as 10 minutes from the beautiful Jardin.
We were upgraded to the Georges Suite with a living room, kitchen, and bedroom with sitting area which were beautifully appointed with crystal chandeliers and furniture. Also had a private courtyard overlooking the pool and garden. Can't recommend more highly.

The staff was outstanding with their kindness and professionalism! The breakfast was exquisite and the large executive suite was well appointed and spacious, one of our finest experiences ever.
