A bit dissappointing with the room

Not worth it

Everything was clean and very staff from the reception really nice and helpful.

Cost is to high for what you get. The appartment feel very old and nothing has been improved. Almost no places to charge the phone, sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable, if you are 4 people you run out of hot water, kitchen is also very old... would be nice to see the ownership showing some love. You can have a classic style but not a lack of renovations

Decent spot for a few nights buy could use some updates.

Nice views, quiet. Location was good, close to town but not too close.

Primary bed was not in good shape, caved in to the middle. Parking was not the best with trying to get on narrow drive with somewhat steep drop off that almost got the car stuck. It was confusing on the check-in process about where to go.

Great location, clean, quiet.

Kind of bare bones, very hard beds and flat pillows, some things falling apart, one of the showers doesn’t have a wall/ shower curtain, not many towels or pillows provided, wrong wifi info provided.

Great location but stinky cigarette smelling place

The location was excellent - Gorgous yard and view but the apartment was not up to par for the price we paid - the stench of cigarettes was kind of a deal killer for us

the apartment sadly reaked of stale cigarettes- bed was sagging to middle - no coffee for guests- I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it because of the smell - one chair on porch and one broken so no place to sit for 2 people - they could try a little harder for the price we are paying

Not comparable in terms of value for money with other properties.

It had a washing machine.

It’s an old property and it needs some cleaning up and furniture replacement. There was an issue with hot water in kitchen so needed to get a tub of water from bathroom. We checked the gas was on and okay. Started working third day. The neighbour smokes inside so every time the door was open it stank!!

Highly recommended! Wonderful apartment in a beautiful town..

It was the most beautiful stay. The location of the apartment is uphill with a stunning view of mountains from the balcony. +++++ Wonderful location and view + Very spacious, a big balcony with seating to enjoy the view. + Very well equipped kitchen, clean bedrooms and bathroom + Comfortable stay with all facilities + Good communication with the host and helpful staff Cortina town is beautiful and we went to see the panoramic view from the top via Tofana cable car and it is also open for skiing. - Only thing is to pick up and drop the keys at a hotel 5 min by drive which was not a big problem for us as this is in the center of the town - Check in time is until 7.30 PM so we had to reach a little early leaving the views which was also okay since everything is closed by then :) Everything was amazing! We could have booked a longer stay but would love to come back for skiing and stay at this apartment again.

Well maintained and cleaned unit with easy access to town.

roomy two bedroom villa apartment in decent shape. We stayed at the ground floor unit and I do not believe the upper floor is occupied so we cannot say if the unit is still as quiet if the upper floor is occupied.

There is an expectation to dump all garbage and recycles, and clean up kitchen (dishes for example) before departure or else a 50Euro fined. I am ok it and understand the unit may not be cleaned the same day we departed so they do not want garbages to be left in there. Still, this should have clearly stated. Also, keys had to be picked up at a local hotel which is not very convenient. Directions giving to us driving to the unit is also sketchy. We ended up having to ask a nice lady who lived on the same street to point us to the unit.

Overall, Great Location and Accommodation

The location is excellent. The apartment is dated, but large with a great kitchen. The kitchen had the basics for cooking but could benefit from more utensils, pots, pans and more. There's off-street parking as well and it was nice to adjust the thermostat for the whole apartment, plus adjust the register for each room individually. In addition, having two bathrooms was convenient for 5 people. Lastly, the washer was really convenient as we were half way through our trip and it allowed us to clean some of our dirty laundry.

The check-in process is awkward. You have to drive to a hotel downtown to pick up the check-in envelope and keys. The communication received regarding check-in could have been a little more clear. Also, Google Maps took us to the incorrect location.

It was clean place in good location with the need of some preparation before arrival to enjoy it.

The photos were pretty descriptive; we only missed more details about the terrace. We expected worse than it actually was. Terrace was big with excellent views and although the furniture was pretty old, it was clean and we used it a lot. The location was good, 13min walking distance to the city center. The only negative is that for some of the distance (4min), you need to share the road with the cares as there are no sidewalks. The place was really clean and we have no issues with the furniture or equipment.

We read previous comments about the place so we were prepared for some of the "negatives" about this place. We read that navigation directions to the exact place are misleading. While picking keys we received a picture of the house from the street together with the keys. But I explicitly asked about navigation and problems with it, and I received a pretty rude answer (from another person than I was mainly talking with) "to use the navigation" and they didn't want to listen to me and that navigation might "not work". Ultimately navigation led us to the wrong location and was walked the street to match the picture received to the location. It didn't take long to find the right place but this could be easily avoided. The handle of the main door was broken and was falling off. I messaged and called the numbers given but didn't receive any response. As it was described in the comments the kitchen was really barebone - no sol, paper, or towel. We were peppered for this so it wasn't a big issue. Provided details for the WiFi connection were not working. We used the defaults provided on the router and they worked.

Don’t stay here unless you like to solve problems

The size of the apartments was good for 4-5 people

The owner is awful and rude, there is zero help regarding to any issue in the apartments. First of all wifi did not work during all the period of stay and the owner did not help with fixing that. Second, the owner did put the information about enabling gas in the kitchen to the guide. At the morning we could not cook breakfast because of that and almost missed our hike, because the owner only answered after 1-2 hours since I reported the issue.

Nice vacation home for a big group or family

The house was big enough for 8 people, not a single person had to sleep on the sofa bed. We love the balcony that we could see the nice view of Cortina. It has parking for 3 cars but we weren't allowed to use the garage. Collecting the keys was quick and easy, but was in a different location than the house itself.

Location was good, but finding the house can be tricky as Google Maps led to the wrong alley. Not a big deal though.

loved the balcony view and that it was outside of town a little. the people at the front desk were helpful and responsive when we had Wi-Fi issues.

with cortina on a one way parking from this location was tedious. the apartment also has no staples like salt and paper for example so you really need to buy or bring everything!

Traditional alpine style apartment on the top floor of building. Fantastic mountain views from the balcony. Short walk to the centre of Cortina d'Ampezzo and Faloria cable car. Good sized, comfortable bedrooms, two large bathrooms and very effective heating.

Relatively poorly equipped kitchen with only one thin tea towel, a dirty used dish cloth, no detergent, limited crockery and no basic cooking supplies or condiments in an apartment booked for 4 guests for 3 nights.

I went there at 18.00. The process to receive the key is no problem.(Receive at the hotel). But when I went to apartment . The heater and boiler is not work. I try to contact the reception to find some fix this problem. (after I try to fixed by myself follow the maual) No one come to fixed for us. this night we took the bath by cold water and sleep by no heater.

A clean tidy apartment with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains

As we were staying for the summer season, I cannot comment on what it is like as a place to stay while skiing or how warm it might be during winter. However, while we were there it served our needs really well, offering a convenient location to quickly reach all our planned activities. For the price we paid, it was a lot larger than we were expecting which was a bonus.

Fantastic location!

The terrace looks out on the stunning views of Cortina. This house a short walk to town and a grocery store. It’s a pretty steep walk back to the house but keeps you in shape!

This would have been perfect if the kitchen were better stocked. There were no sponges, scrubbers, dish soap, potholders or paper towels/napkins. While a toaster is certainly optional, it would be a nice thing to have. The dishwasher didn’t work that well and because we couldn’t clean the dishes by hand, they remained dirty. If the kitchen were better stocked, this would have been an ideal place to stay. The location and views are spectacular.

Comfortable Alpen experience with a view

The unit was comfortable and has outstanding views. A nice porch allowed us to relax while taking in the outdoors and views. While there were other adjacent guests the configuration allows each guest to maintain privacy. The shower provided plenty of hot water and the temperature regulation was efficient when it was turned up to stave off a drop in temperature at night. The check in and out experience was efficient and friendly, as were the restaurants and local staff in the shoppes. Our experience makes us want to return for an extended stay in the near future.

Limited check-in times which they only tell you AFTER you book

Very large. Pretty spot. Well furnished.

The property did not notify of their check-in policy until after I made the booking. As of writing, they have a limited check-in window of 330pm to 7pm, which is inconvenient to use. If you are outside this check-in window, they charge you 50 euros extra. This policy is fine, but they need to list this on the booking, rather than sending you a message after you book. I'm not happy! Stayincortina, please update your listing!
