Terrible experience

The property is managed by a company that doesn’t do a good job. They forgot to leave the key in a designated spot. Due to that we had to wait more than an hour outside in the cold for them to arrive with the keys. As it was late in the evening contacting the phone numbers they provided was useless, only after we contacted booking support they called us back. Upon entering the apartment we saw that the floor was dirty, we had to clean it ourselves to make the stay more comfortable. There was no soap in any of the two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms could not be locked, the other one had problems with locking it. To put a cherry on top of the cake we were charged 80€ by the management company to take out the trash. We left the trash next to the sorting bins on the balcony. There were no instructions for trash recycling or where to take it or anything related to that. Nothing under property policies on Booking or in the email for checking in that the company sent to us, nothing about checking out. If you come to Cortina for skiing and plan to drive to the ski lifts then I think there are better options.

Excellent value, in the best location.

Location is perfect, it is incredibly easy to get into the town centre whilst far enough away to be peaceful. Rooms are well laid out and spacious, two shower rooms is a major plus and the apartment remained cool in very hot weather.

Some minor maintenance is needed (eg main light in shower room not working) A second set of keys would be handy if staying with a large group
