Every hotel has a good time to visit and a bad time. Thanksgiving 2025 was a bad time. There was limited food and they say that they have room service and a restaurant in the hotel but they don't. They have bar bites. If your looking for something substantial look elsewhere. The town itself is quite charming and there are some good eats but if you have health issues or need access to food easily this isn't the place for you. No mini fridge either. The staff did their best but it truly seemed like they were understaffed. Our room was right next to a utility room and every clunk/rumble was heard quite clearly in our room. The bathroom was the best part of the whole thing. The shower was glorious and they provided wonderful little toiletries. I especially loved the jacuzzi tub. Tons of fun. It would be a great little getaway for couples...not with children though. I recommend the area most. If you don't have any particular preferences in regards to a room then this is your place. The little town is wonderful. It has a little bookstore, a wonderful pastry/bakery down the street. Good restaurants which we were lucky were open for the Thanksgiving weekend and several great antique stores. The staff were nice but the parking lot was tiny. Just to be forwarded. I don't know if I'd go back but the town was quite charming.

The facilities overall were uncleanly. There were views from the room of standing water on rooftops, ungroomed plants, and dead branches everywhere. I received a glass of wine from the bar with (soneone elses) lipstick on it. The parking lot is not amply sized to accomodate guests and visitors to the restaurant. The bathroom door in our room did not fully close and the carpets were not fully attached to the floor. Grout in the shower stall was not clean. This was not worth the $450+ I paid for a room. My wife and I didn't even use the shower we were so grossed out. The Logan Inn across the river has similar rates and much cleaner facilities.
