What a delightful hotel. The rooms were modern, stylish, clean as a whistle and well equipped. The building is equally stylish and well maintained. We didn't eat in the dining room as it was very busy but crossed the road to a restaurant clearly popular with the locals where I enjoyed the best Cafe Gourmand of my life, for a very reasonable price. We could only stay for a single night but, if I'm in Normandy again, especially if I arrived off the evening boat into Le Havre, it would be my first choice.

My only comment is ref the Parking - Limited within the Hotel 8 to 10 cars - depends on how people park - but plenty of free on street parking

Very easy to find, secure parking, friendly staff willing to accommodate my lack of language. The room was nice, the view over the rooftops was refreshing. The bed was almost too warm, but nothing to complain about. The bathroom had a bath and it was great to relax after long day on the road. We had also dinner there and it was delicious.

Quirky hotel: all rooms seemed to be on two levels with an outside balcony. You would need to be sure footed!!. No air conditioning so it would be very hot in summer. Smoking permitted on the balconies outside the rooms so if your windows were open, which they had to before ventilation, occupants were poisoned by the smoke of others.

The hotel is well-placed, and has its own car park. The room was clean, though not all the lights worked. I reported a blown bulb in a reading lamp, and it was noted to be replaced the next morning. But it still hadn't been done by late afternoon, so I had to ask again. Another lamp upstairs flickered and fizzed when I tried to switch it on - so I left it. The room was quiet, but it was set back from the others and was really quite dark (hence needing the lights to work). And the wifi was rubbish. Either it didn't reach my room, or was so low-spec that I couldn't connect, and ended up tethering my iPad to my iPhone and using 4G. Bit of a pain, given wifi was one of my selection criteria. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was a bit pricy for what it was. But overall, it was a clean and decent place to stay in Pont l'Eveque.
