This will be our fifth trip to the Embrace and the team keeps getting better. Firstly the location is perfect, metres from the beach two awesome pools and also minutes to Bangla road and Jungceylon for all your shopping needs. Close enough to do what you want either nightlife, dining or shopping but far enough away for a nice quiet location. The waterpark was perfect for our extended families kids who loved it. Will be back again once more.

We stayed at Andaman Embrace Patong for ten nights as a group of ten, occupying five rooms in total. Our stay was split into two bookings of five nights each. For the first half, we were placed in different buildings across the property, which we accepted. When we extended directly with the hotel for the next five nights, we were specifically assured that our rooms would be side by side. That did not happen. The reception staff were unhelpful throughout, and the facilities felt tired and in need of refurbishment. But what genuinely soured the stay was the checkout. On the morning of departure, I could not locate my towel card. I was rushing to catch a taxi to the airport, and I made it clear to the staff that we had no interest in taking their towels. Rather than help me look for the card in the room, they fined me 1,000 Baht, well aware that I had no time to argue. There was no attempt to verify whether a towel was actually missing, no goodwill, nothing. Just a penalty. The signage all around the property warning of charges for lost key cards and towel cards is excessive and, frankly, reads as a revenue stream aimed at tourists. A misplaced towel card is not the kind of thing that should trigger a fine of that size, particularly when there are simpler ways to check whether anything has actually been taken. I would not stay here again, and I would think twice before recommending it. A hotel of this standard should be leaning on hospitality, not on penalties at the door.
