Our stay at Villa degli Argentieri was great. The location was perfect, right next to the beach and walkable to everything in Monterosso. It was very close to the train station as well to be able to access the rest of Cinque Terre. The rooms were basic but clean. The staff was super helpful and friendly.

My husband and and I spent a week here in April. We LOVED our stay. If you're looking for a Hilton or Marriot, you will be disappointed. You are in Europe. The rooms are smaller, the shower is small, and the breakfast is simple. The location is 10/10, a few minutes from the train station, tons of dining options and a few steps ftom the most beautiful beach. Get a room with balcony looking at the sea. The room was small, but confortable. Safe. Clean. And the staff were very helpful. The value was incredible, and a perfect spot to explore Cinque Terre. Stay here!!!

A great location to explore Cinque Terre from. The hotel is in the new side of Montarosso. We went at the end of March. It was getting busy with day tourists. I can’t imagine how the area is in high season. The staff was great, helpful and provided a little authentic history of the area.

We were told that Italian law prevents them from turning on the a/c system. We had to open the balcony doors. While I understand and accept the concept of bringing in outside air, noise and lights kept us up all night. And there was no cross ventilation in the room to bring in outside air. We asked for a fan which helped with the temperature. But it was still bright and noisy at night.

The young women who prepared morning coffee and breakfast were wonderful. The deck was great, very relaxing. The shower doors didn’t close properly so water would flood bathroom, making exit to shower hazardous. The bathroom was so small we had to sit on toilet sideways. We did love the quaint features, pillows and bed were wonderful!

I recently stayed at this hotel in Italy, and it was, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The property is nothing like the images shown online – they completely lied about everything. First, the room was tiny and dirty, with a broken bed that caved in the middle, making it impossible to sleep. The bathroom was even worse, featuring a portable shower that looked like it was hastily installed in a closet. The entire place was in disrepair and felt more like a low-budget hostel than the charming hotel they advertised. The “ocean view” they claimed? Completely obstructed, nothing like the images I saw during booking. I even chatted with the hotel beforehand to confirm that the room I booked was the one advertised, and they assured me it was. That was a blatant lie. The worst part? The noise outside was unbearable. We couldn’t sleep at all with constant loud disturbances throughout the night. I was so frustrated that we left after one night, but when I asked for a refund, the front desk staff had the audacity to say, “In life, sometimes we don’t get what we want.” I was in disbelief. This level of rudeness and disregard for guests is unacceptable. I demand a refund, but based on my experience, I’m not holding my breath. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. It’s a scam.
