We booked a Queen room with city view and ensuite On arrival, we checked in and was told, we had been upgraded We asked for a reservation for dinner, to be informed their restrauant was closed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! This was not stated on booking Room had a double bed, not Queen Had sky light and industrial view if opened the window, no window with city view Were informed a large party were arriving on Saturday night and wanted rooms next to each other Lack of hot food left for breakfast, we went dor breakfast at 08:45 Shower and wc open plan to bedroom !

Very helpful staff, breakfast was good but expensive, rooms cold as heating turned off and very noisy. Seemingly there is little insulation in the walls and the doors shake whenever anyone on the corridor enters/leaves meaning very little sleep.

We were visiting Oignies and chose this hotel primarily for its location, but overall were pleased with the accomodation. The meal in the restaurant on Thursday night was excellent, but they don't do evenining meals Friday-Sunday which was a bit of a problem as there are few local restaurants, although the staff were very helpful giving suggestions they could only come up with three! Breakfast was good but a bit expensive at 12 Euros - there is an excellent bakery next door though if you want to do-it-yourself.

Conveniently located off the autoroute. I will say this: I emailed via their own website asking for a reservation at their restaurant. (months in advance) When I showed up at 21h, they tell me that the restaurant is closed 5 days a week, including the weekends. This was a little perplexing and very irritating as eating past 9 in France is...not easy.

Good stop over. Good overall service. Restaurant was good and service was quick. No elevator, travel light. Don’t get caught with morning and evening traffic by the hotel.

Arrived after long day driving, extremely hot day tired and hungry. Booked because they had restuarant on site. Upon arrival told no air conditioning, no fan in room,room on thitd floor, no lift. Restuarant closed as all staff on holidays in August. I was not happy but the guy on the counter was happy to cancel my reservation or give me a discount. I didnt want to drive any further so stayed, he reduced the cost of our room and included a very nice breakfast. Gave us a rear room so the windows could be open and was quiet. Very happy in the end as slept well and owner couldn't apologize more.

Great friendly hotel and staff, just a shame there is not a lot going on around and no facilities. With that nice surroundings maybe some relaxing seats you could get to. McDonald's across the road and supermarket very near, but if you wish to sample local delights a 25 minute walk.

This hotel turned out to be ideally located for motorways and local roads for numerous memorial sites.The rooms were very suitable for one/ two night stopover and the bar/ restaurant acted as a great rendezvous
