    Whist the owners are extremely pleasant and evening meal spot on the accommodation was sadly very poor and despite their site say recently renovated, it would not appear to be the case.Very shabby & grubby carpets, worn mattress a stains on ceiling and walls. The bathroom was extremely small and shower placement meant difficulty getting in/out. Someone with any mobility issues would not stand a chance. I may have been unlucky and drawn the short straw with the room which is unfortunate as I won't be returning or recommending.

    A very homely premises. Very clean. Old basic inn. Food very tasty. Limited choice. Comfortable bed. The hostess was very approachable and helpful. Will use again.

    Despite being supplied with earplugs. The constant noise of cars and lorries throughout the night (The vehicles went past almost every 10-20 seconds ) from a main road right next to the accommodation meant that sleep was severely affected. The room was too small luggage had to be placed in the bathroom make more space to walk around the room. Breakfast was OK.
