    Amazing location and views of the coastline, mountains, bullring etc. Right next to the castle which saves a very sweaty uphill trek from town. No local shop so get supplies in town. Pool area is lovely but limited beds and fixed parasols. Restaurant service both for dinner and breakfast is farcical - breakfast you have to wait to be seated but no one comes leading to pointless queuing, staff seem bothered by having to wait tables, ask you to choose hot food from a menu you haven’t been given, coffee takes ages to arrive - similar story at dinner waiting for drinks and food, beef was very overcooked but took so long to come we didn’t dare send it back. Shame as it’s a beautiful location for a restaurant and the rest of the hotel staff seem very helpful and switched on!

    We arrived straight from Australia with jet lag and found a great place to recover. The scenery is stunning and enjoyed great food while adapting to Europe. I would happily stay there again.

    Lovely views from hotel, generally nice decor, large room with balcony, nice (if expensive) breakfast. Tough walk from town but worth it for the views. However room *** was incredibly noisy. One of the 2 nights was impossible to sleep due mechanical/plumbing noises - probably to do with the swimming pool above. This also caused some plumbing noise throughout the day. The room is also near the path leading up to the castle, which affects privacy and noise somewhat. The management were completely inflexible in relation to a cancellation request. The booking was non-refundable so they had no contractual obligation to do so - but there was no understanding of my personal circumstances, nor to the fact they could easily re-sell the room (Easter weekend and hotel was otherwise sold out). Other hotels were happy to be flexible.
