NEGLIGENT MANAGEMENT, POOR COMMUNICATION & NOT DOG FRIENDLY
I checked in with my 17-year-old, 5-lb dog, paid the pet fee, and found a previous guest’s dirty shirt in the room. Reception told me to book a second night online and said they would update it.
The next morning, despite a DO NOT DISTURB sign and a chair against the door, staff entered because they failed to notice the second night I had paid for. They claimed they called first, but there was no call and they could not show one.
Only after I complained did they tell me dogs must stay in a bag or crate at all times—even while you are in the room. The rule is on their website, but not Expedia, my confirmation, or disclosed at check-in. I offered to supervise my dog; they refused: buy a crate or leave, initially without a refund.
They also claimed the policy had already been emailed, yet it arrived only after our dispute began. The evasive manager took five hours to approve a refund, forcing a last-minute Airbnb. Never again.

CONS: NO parking nearby so guest have to find street parking even if far from hotel. No basic toiletries or amenities common in hotels such as shampoo/conditioner, blowers, bottled water, etc.
PROS: walking distance from the beach (suitable for walking but not for bathing), near restaurants and other walkable areas. Relatively affordable compared to location. The room was clean and comfortable. Balcony with view
