The room I had didn’t have a shower, and I had to be careful when I went in the bathroom as the ceiling was very low.

A special treat to stay in a chateau, so a bonus to also be able to have dinner there too. We stayed in the chateau itself rather than the renovated outbuildings, which was fun. Lovely buffet breakfast too. Very reasonable too, IMHO.

We stayed in a room in the old castle a short walk from the main building that was far more atmospheric. The castle was cold on arrival but after pointing this out the heating was turned on. Overnight stay with family of two teens. Was able to access leisure facilities early, and stay late on day of departure. Beautiful setting, amazing swimming pool, games room and tennis court to keep boys entertained. Staff are very helpful, restaurant is fine dining, would recommend.

Lovely quiet location in large grounds. Chateau accommodation (suite) was fantastic - extremely spacious and lots of character. A little bit worn around edges but this seemed to fit well with ambiance. Restaurant and breakfast room very nice. Food good and staff very friendly. The room was comfortable with a balcony we enjoyed. Service was excellent and friendly both in the hotel and in the restaurant. Some of the food we ordered was excellent but we felt the chef was more concerned with artistic presentation than taste. Please take his blender away from him. On the whole we really enjoyed our stay.
