An easy overnight stay and charming, friendly host.

Breakfast was great, the place was really peaceful and the room comfortable.

A bit too much furniture and bits and pieces in the bedroom for us. All of it charming but less would have felt better but purely a matter of preference.

Lovely overnight stay … one to remember

It was in a nice location . The owner Julie was lovely. She was so helpful and you can see her love for the business in all the nice little touches around the chateau. She cooked us an evening meal which was delicious especially the plum crumble . So yummy !!! The breakfast was excellent lots of choice and the homemade jam delicious. Thank you Julie for a memorable stay .

There was nothing to dislike. We appreciate work on the house is a daily job and takes time … minor observation maybe tidy front of house for better first impression.

Short n sweet, maybe a little too pricy for what I used of it.

Well it was clean and the host welcoming. Had air con and a fan which was much needed. Pool was good to refresh after a longish ride.

Nothing to dislike. Decor was a bit eclectic and shabby chic, lots of pictures and hand written notes of dos/donts. No evening meal option which I thinks advertised as an option (maybe not). Host booked a place for me that I would have had to ride to so not suitable, I wandered up to the town and found a lovely place myself.

We would use this again without hesitation

We were met by a cheery and welcoming proprietor who explained the workings of the accommodation, which was clean and beautifully designed without being intimidating. An unexpected surprise was a fully laid breakfast room with as much choice as anyone could want., The proprietor saw to her guests needs before leaving get the children to school. I have paid a lot moire for a lot less in other places in France. After a very hot drive from Calais it was a welcome cool overnight stay.

Julie has created an absolutely lovely place to stay, situated in a beautiful location. Her attention to detail and homeliness is super. Quite quirky and individual, in an engaging and enjoyable way, yet also comfortable and very relaxing. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day.

The room was comfortable and Julie was a wonderful hostess. She provided a delicious continental breakfast and a welcome supper on our arrival. The weather was cold and wet so we weren’t able to experience the outdoors which was a shame as I’m sure it would be glorious in the summer.

There was only one room left when we booked which was a little bit small for our 6 day stay especially as we couldn’t be outdoors.

Beautiful old style French country home tastefully renovated. Julie the host was welcoming and attentive. Amazing breakfast and you also won’t be disappointed with the home cooking if you also have dinner there

Exceptional

I don’t know where to start as there are so many positive things to say: a very warm welcome from Julie, our hostess. The great atmosphere of this little « castle » surrounded by Roses, immaculate bedrooms and bathrooms, the quietness of this place, an excellent breakfast with a little touch: a personalised note from Julie explaining where everything was, the vegetable garden, the heated swimming pool (just a shame we didn’t have time for it), games for the kids (football, basketball, table tennis), etc.

Great place to stay!

This B&B is exactly what we were looking for! It had the typical romantic and original French style we wanted. Very calm environment so you can wind down, and everything you need is around including a great swimming pool and freshly home made and local products are offered which you can buy for a small fee. The hostess/owner was very friendly and welcoming!

Perfect voor een nachtje op doorreis van/naar het zuiden! Heerlijke tuin, zwembad, ontbijt,… Op 50m van La Roseraie staat een laadpaal voor elektrische wagens, super handig! Ze zouden dat beter ook op hun site en booking vermelden, is echt een extra troef.

Belle échappée au calme et ressourçante non loin du Futuroscope

Très belle bâtisse avec piscine dans un joli petit village non loin du Futuroscope. Très calme et ressourçant. Chaque chambre est différente, bien équipée et confortable avec sa propre salle de bain. Très bon accueil de Julie qui est aux petits soins pour nous. Très bon petit déjeuner avec des produits locaux.
