    I really enjoyed my stay at The People Le Marais. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and felt very safe as a solo female traveler. The Le Marais area is lively, walkable, and very well connected by public transportation. The staff were kind and helpful. When I accidentally hit my head, they quickly brought me ice, which really helped. The hostel also has a nice kitchen, which was very convenient. It is a little pricey, but the comfort, safety, and location make it worth the money. Thank you for such a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend it!

    We were here for a quick night to end our trip. The restaurant is notably gorgeous. Be aware that this property is not air conditioned but our room did have large windows and a fan.

    I extended my stay so I was there for a week. The location is perfect, you can go anywhere by walking and the metro is like 2mins away. The room is clean, staff are nice and helpful. But there is no ac and during summer it’s quite hot. Anyway, I’m very impressed and I would recommend to everyone !

    Firstly there is absolutely no Air conditioning, no fan or any sorts of air, be prepared for that, if it gets hot, it’s impossible to stay inside the hostel. About the showers, there is a button you have to press and it stays on for exactly 5 seconds (not exaggerating), just count 1 to 5 seconds and it’s turned off, you have to keep pressing it every 5 seconds which absolutely the worst design ever and impossible to shower! I was in a 4 bed room with private bath and it’s the same no good than general washroom and also the sink is soo slow it’s only drips or has a mini stream and you can’t brush or wash your face properly. There is no point in paying extra and staying in a room with the private bathroom, it’s a waste of your money. And for cleaning, if nobody is checking out in your room that day, there is no cleaning in your room, no trash taken and no toilet paper for the whole day! Atleast the staff was kind and got us the toilet paper in a few minutes after I complained. The second floor is well decorated bar and a nice space but the drinks are expensive even after 20% discount for people staying inside the hostel. There was construction noise all day and you can’t hear people at night from the street and you can’t get a good sleep after 8am. We could close the window but with no air, we had no choice but to keep the window open and bear the noise. The location is nice and convenient with metro steps away but the facilities and no water is not worth it. I would pick another hostel if there was an option.
