The staff was very accommodating with check in and even before check in. They provided bag storage and access to the bags before the room was ready. The front desk got us into the room before check in time. And even upgraded our room. The staff in the restaurant was excellent and remembered us and our preferences. The room was excellent.

The hotel was an average 4 star hotel, though a tad spartan. Sadly it lacked amenities in the room.
On a brighter note, Andi was superb, helping us every step of the way. Bright professional and very helpful. Commendable.
Curious note. When we checked in, Usal clearly stated point-blank that there was no onsite parking. and sent me off to pay £16 to park opposite the Hampton Inn. However when I returned to collect my keys, Andi offered free parking onsite to us as HiltonHonours patron.I also overheard another receptionist offer free parking to a staff member checking in from another city stating "we have to look after each other". I guess it matters who you speak to.

excellent location if you’re attending a tradeshow at the Excel. It is a five minute walk to the Tradeshow floor. The Elizabeth line and DLR are very close and you can get into town easy.
