Staff Gabriele, helpful and friendly. Fast check in, comfortable bed,and clean room +very spacious bathroom. Very convenient for an early morning train as hotel is situated 5 min walk a little uphill from the main Lugano train station, which by the way serves excellent espresso and cappuccino and has amazing views over the lake and the mountains. We choose this property because it was close to the train station. It was plain and without frills or amenities but the air conditioning worked great and the rooms were cleaned. Staff said we qualified for a free city bus pass and said they would email it but never did.

Very friendly helpful staff. Well-located just a few minutes from the station. Pass for free public transport provided which we could use on the short funicular that goes from the station into the city centre (our children enjoyed this!). Lovely breakfast.
