Staff was excellent, room AC was outdated and ineffective and mattresses were flat

Due to the weather we could not do much it was way too hot however the hotel was only a 2 minute walk to the Carcassonne Castle which was very convenient and the staff were very helpful and always willing to help.
But transportation was very expensive and the distances were far. Otherwise everything was great!

Such an excellent location, right under the medieval cité but away from the business. There are plenty of lovely places to have dinner a short walk away, and it is also a very short walk over the bridge and into La Bastide for cafes and shops around Place Carnot.
The swimming pool is quiet and was very welcome in such hot weather!
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
