Place is in very poor shape. Won’t stay here again

Staff was so kind and helpful . So quiet and able to rest . Rooms were comfy and felt like home

Beds were comfortable but there were used towels in the closet and the toilet was running most of the time. Only 1 cup was provided at the sink. Room served its purpose.

Pool was not functional nor working absolutely disgusting do not have continental breakfast complete false advertising

The check in staff are rude and in helpful. Room is dirty and building is unkept. Breakfast options are limited at best and staff is very uncooperative

The check in was horrible. I booked the room from the parking lot on my phone. When my wife and I went to check-in, I was told I didn't have a reservation. I had the confirmation on my phone and showed the front desk lady. She was not very helpful borderline rude and didn't speak english very clearly. After some investigating and prodding of the front desk lady we found out I was booked for the next day. I had to tell the front desk lady to cancel the reservation and book me for that day. The front desk lady was very slow at the job not very helpful and was very confusing to work with. The next morning at the continental breakfast my wife had to make the coffee since the front desk person was not present for about 20 minutes. It was the same person from our check-in experience. In the room the window frame was broken in the center. The window wouldn't open. The smoke-fire alarm was not attached and stuck in a closet. The door frame was broken and if some one pushed firmly on the door from the outside it would open when locked. The sink didn't have a plug. At least the sheets and bed were clean.

Horribly dirty, the carpets had huge bleach stains. Broken toilet paper holder, no amenities, dirty pillows and little black hairs on the bed sheets. I checked out 3 hours after checking in.

Dated structure, staff hard to communicate with because of language difference, only 1 working ice machine usually empty because of migrant worker crews living there, TP holder and towel rack fell off wall of bathroom, AC worked well but concerned with filter status, cost for stay was only a few dollars less than other hotels

Clerk at check in hard to understand. Dry pieces of leaves in bed. Only 1 cup. Smart tv hard to negotiate.

There were two holes in the bathroom door, one on each side. The sink did not have anything over the drain hole. The breakfast area and food had a very low quality feel about it.

Room missing fire alarm, floor covered in pet hair

One person at front desk couldn’t understand English very well. Frustrating. Room was nice but some sketchy vehicles outside. Price is inexpensive so I guess u can’t expect perfection

Pool was filthy, carpet needs replaced, just overall seems ran down. Breakfast was slim pickings. Beds were decent and clean. Carpets in the room are dirty looking as well.

I would never stay that this red lion ever. It was gross and dirty. No toilet paper in bathrooms when we checked in, had to wake up someone in my room to go to the front desk at 1am to get toilet paper to use. Key cards wouldn’t work, the maids key cards wouldn’t work, had to have the master (actual) key from the manager to get back into the room eveytime we left the room; even when returning to the the hotel with sleeping kids at 1am. No towels or wash clothes in the room when we checked in. The “breakfast” is a waffle maker, wal-mart brand yogurt, and mushy apples. Wall paper falling off the walls in the hallways, gross dirt carpet, the entire hotel smelled musty and moldy. The owners are clearly not taking care of the property. Not what I would expect from a Ree Lion Hotel, and not in a good way….. I’m wondering how they passed the health department expectation…. I will pay 60$ more a night to stay at the hotel a block down the the road….

It was not ADA friendly. Could not get wheelchair or a walker in the room. Bothroom very small. Toilet too short. --- personal were very nice, but hard to understand. I never got a receipt. (JUST A VERY OLD BUILDING).not managements fault.

I am very grateful to the hotel staff because I forgot my wedding rings and they were very honest in returning them to me, thank you.

It was quiet there except for a dog across the hall barking. There wasn't much for help at the desk. Only one roll of toilet paper with no Kleenex and minimal towels. For the price it was disappointing and the carpet floors in the hallways were filthy which turned my bare feet bottoms black. The pool was cold and needed cleaning. Free breakfast was meh...

everything looked dirty and stained up carpet. The sink in our room didn't have running water. 2 of our lamps didn't work. we checked out 10 minutes after checking in.

When we got there the room was not very well cleaned, there was what looked like boogers on the wall by the toilet, the bathroom was absolutely tiny. The free breakfast was a waffle maker, cereal, and yogurt. All self serve and very cheap. Service seemed good when we got there, until we had to wait a half hour on the front desk staff to assist us. All in all, I will never book another stay at a red lion.. and suggest others do the same until they address how terrible they run a buisness.

Staff was unfriendly. The only friendly individuals was the housekeeping. They charged me 78$ when they said I wouldn't be charged

First off the people running it were awesome! But as far as house cleaning, we had to ask for our room to get cleaned(don't know why, but when housekeeping cleaned it, she did an amazing job)! We did not get a restock of any toiletries at all! The people are super nice and respectful, but its lacking in initiative!!!

No refrigerator, no microwave, no coffee maker in the room, other noisy customers and swimming pool pump very old and we were near the pool.

Floors were dirty, carpet needs a good deep cleaning. Muffin and candy wrappers on floor, etc. it worked, quiet, safe; so worked for an overnight on our way through.

I had booked 2 rooms. 1 for my husband and I, the other for our daughter and 2 grandkids. I booked each room with a king bed. We arrived and we were shown rooms with one queen bed. Then to top it off, my daughter's room wasn’t even cleaned. Trash was still in the trash cans. The bed was stripped of any sheets and not made at all. The comforter was rolled up and placed on the chair. The room was a disaster. And because there was no king bed, not all three of them would fit into one queen. There was also supposed to be a small couch in each room. There wasn’t. Only one very small chair. My daughter was upgraded to a two queen room on the floor above us. Which I was upset about, because I requested rooms next to each other. My husband's and my room wasn't very clean. It smelled awful. I wanted to change rooms, but my husband didn't want to make a fuss. I tried not to touch anything when I was there. I felt gross the whole time. Upon checking in, my daughter and I waited for someone to come to the front desk after ringing for service. When the person finally came, she had a thick accent and spoke low and fast. I am hard of hearing and when I asked her what she said, she repeated it and then proceeded to ignore me and talk only to my daughter. She handed my driver's license to my daughter and told her thank you, when I am the one who gave it to her. The lady proceeded to hand all paperwork to my daughter that I needed to sign. A chair was missing a wheel in our room. It was bad

Sheets, towels, and main areas of the room were clean, but dirty around the edges. The building is old and needs cleaning/updating. Ice machines did not work. One side of the bed was sagging. Staff was friendly, food was fine.

The lady at the front counter immediately started to hell at me about giving id I stated I was grabbing it I just had few questions then she repeatedly saying it and being rude I then said this is not customer service I'm not going somewhere where someone yells at me. I asked if I cancel my room are you going to charge me anything she said no. I asked again are you going to charge me anything not a penny right. She repeatedly said no. I went to a hotel down the street the people where great and when I got up in the morning they charged me. I went back over there to the place that charged me and same lady was at the desk. I said what the heck. You told me you where not going to charge and she smiled and said oops. I then looked at the reviews which I should have done first and this place is by far the worst problems with fleas all sorts of problems. When you see the name red lion u expect a great place I can't believe cooperate is allowing this to be apart of a normal great place. I'm contacting cooperate about this hopefully they get ownership of this property and get to be the great place they usually are and get this bad pLace of there.

The bed was horrible. The first night different room the second night. Much better room.

We have stayed here before and it really went downhill. We found multiple bed bugs and are still having issues with a refund because of the bed bugs and how dirty everything was. Management and staff did all the right things in trying to take care of everything but are waiting to hear about their investigation.

Our window was broken and didn’t secure shut. No smoke alarm in our room. Stay away.
