Disappointing Stay — Below Marriott Standards As a loyal Marriott member, I was disappointed that my membership was neither recognized nor acknowledged during check-in. Despite booking through Expedia, I had expected the reception team to identify my membership via my email ID and extend the same level of service Marriott is known for. Unfortunately, several issues made this stay fall short of expectations: • Our breakfast details were misplaced, and we had to email and provide a screenshot to confirm them. • The same issue occurred with parking details, which we also had to resend. • The room was not well-maintained — there were visible wine stains on the carpet, a curtain hanging loose from one side, and a damaged room phone. On the last day, even after informing reception in the morning about a linen change, we returned tired from travel to find the room exactly as we had left it. Although the team eventually offered a room change, it took over an hour to arrange. Adding to the frustration, our deposit was deducted without any explanation or prior notice, and we are still awaiting clarification. I have stayed at multiple Marriott properties, including an excellent 8-night stay at Le Méridien, Mauritius, last September. This experience, however, did not reflect the same consistency or service standards I associate with the Marriott brand. Excellent location and staff. Good gym to workout. Also right next to walking trails (literally at the edge of the parking lot). I was there for a business trip but got a good hike in.

The hotel bar was small, nothing to eat there, I had to drive downtown to find a place to eat. The area was a little dirty and the parking lot had trash in it. For the price I paid, I expected the property to be better. Overall it was okay, I wouldn’t stay there again for that price.

The Sheraton Sonoma Wine Country is classic Sheraton. Beautifully designed, large, Stylish rooms. Incredible beds, incredible service.

Great good, nice people

We had a nice stay there. Good buffet breakfast. Property needs lots of exterior maintenance. The light rail train runs near the property and a bit noisy and was fun to set your watch by! Would stay there again if in the area.

Spacious room and very clean. Pool was not available, it should be noted prior to booking. Staff very friendly! Breakfast option was nice and food was great.

The lobby was friendly and the property was very clean. I recommend it 👌

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Nice rooms, marina side nice views. Surprises by the occasional train horns starting 5 am though.

this hotel did not meet our expectation. very unhelpful staff, zero hospitality. untrained bar tender, terrible breakfast...totally disappointed

-1- The hotel has just performed a major renovation regarding the bar, breakfast and restaurant area - everything looks great. -2- All the carpeting in the hallway and in the room should be updated! -3- Very friendly staff from the receptionist to the waiter at the bar and restaurant - but the hotel is short with staffs, and there is only one server for the bar and restaurant. -4- The room are spacious and "reasonably" clean - However, the cleanliness definitively needs improvement. -5- Traveling and staying at the hotel is for business purposes only - so the location of the hotel is perfect

Convenient location between touring Sonoma, the Napa Valley and Tiburon, Mil Valley areas. Attractive facility.

It’s an ok place to stay, but for $75 pet fee you think they’d have a better dog exercise area.

Staff was friendly

It felt a bit underwhelming. My first room the tv didn’t work and the ac had issues. Moved the next day to another room and while it was better it still left something to be desired.

No menú to order room service and the restaurant closed at 10 no 11 my phone didn’t work to order room rooms service

it was a convenient location because we had to get to the San Francisco and Napa Valley… But there’s really not much around the hotel as far as options for dining or activities. You have about a 10 minute drive to downtown Petaluma for everything.

I was very disappointed that the pool and hot tub it’s not working.

We booked this hotel so we could use the pool after checking in and getting on our bathing suits going to the pool a sign read that it was not open. Nobody at the front desk, alerted us. We would have checked out immediately and gone to another property. In the evening, we went down to use the fire pit. They said the fire pit was also in operable. So there are two major amenities that we could not use during our stay we are not very happy about that. And there was no refund or acknowledgment towards a refund to us. Food quality was marginal, the same breakfast was provided each morning no changes. We chose to dine elsewhere.

We had to downgrade from the room we bought to a lower floor due to a condom wrapper we found on the floor. We’ve come home with rashes on all of us from the dirtiness of the sheets. Very disappointed. A complete waste of money.
