This place is fine for a night or two. They truly make the most of what they have.
Pros: friendly staff, easy check-in process, updated room (including the bathroom).
Cons: the area is a bit sketchy, at night, and there is some street (and train) noise.
Overall, I would stay here again, if the price was right. And the room fan was very nice!

Many good food and coffee spots near by, check in was easy, and a very chill stay

Always love my stays here.

Nice clean room with some age / wear-and-tear visible on the floor and bathroom area. Room relies on fan for cooling, but Berkeley was cool at night, so no issues there. Very convenient location right off of University Drive, so quick to get most places in Berkeley.
