Smoky Falls Lodge

The place really nice, albeit a bit dated. However, we didn’t mind a bit and had a great time. We ate there and enjoyed the live band. Then, we spend the rest of the evening by the creek. The staff is really nice and the place is within walking distance of a multitude of restaurants and things to do.

all you could want in a place to stay

Rooms were very clean. Staff was helpful. Parking can fill up because of the bar/restaurant that is off the lobby. Restaurant was nice and had good food. TV was bad. Most channels would not come in at all and others were glitchy. Shower pressure was not very good. There were no issues with my service dog. Great experience overall.

It’s an older property with a lot of character and remodeled sometime in the last few years. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, if a little plain. Sometime during our second day the hot water in the bathroom sink stopped working but the shower was fine. The grounds were a perfect fall setting. The one thing I would recommend is that the owners add some waste disposal cans to the areas where dogs are allowed so you don’t have to look for a dumpster or put waste in a regular trash can near guest rooms. We would definitely visit again.
